Sometimes any files and folders are unnecessarily long in length. Windows computers have a filename length of up to 255 characters. Google Drive Not Syncing If the folder you are trying to sync has multiple folder layers, google drive will not sync properly. You should shorten the length of file and folder names, and reduce the number of layers in folders. Do this and try again. Most of the time people make the silliest mistakes and they get into catastrophic trouble because of it.
